Preschool Gym

TOPAZ TOTS
(AGE 1-2)

Topaz Tots

Our Topaz Tots program is a structured parent participation class designed to let children under the age of three experience gymnastics in our preschool area. Children are accompanied by a family member and participates in a brief warmup, a gymnastics circuit, and listens to interactive music. Our coach assists with learning and play, but the main purpose of this class is to familiarize the children with gymnastics equipment and practice motor skills. It is also a great building block towards future classes.

TURQUOISE 3'S
(AGE 3)

Turquoise 3's Gymnastics Class

This is a transitional class designed to prepare 3 year olds for our Preschool Pearls (age 4-5) class. The class begins with a brief warm-up and stretching period, followed by group and/or station work on the designated equipment for that week, and ends in a game. New lesson plans are created every two weeks to ensure a variety of equipment and activities are experienced. Your child's coach will determine when your child is ready to advance to the Preschool Pearls class where they will be introduced to our GEMnastics FUNdamentals skills tracking process and more complex skills.

PRESCHOOL PEARLS
(AGE 4-5)

Preschool Pearls - Ages 4-5

(Age 3 upon completion of Turquoise 3's class)
This class is held in our Preschool area and is designed for 4-5 year olds (and 3-year-olds who have successfully completed a Turquoise 3's class). Students in this class are introduced to the GEMnastics FUNdamentals skill tracking process. New lesson plans are used every two weeks to ensure access to various equipment and progression through basic gymnastic skills. This class is a steppingstone toward a Ruby Trampoline & Tumbling or Ruby All Around class where more complex skills will be introduced in our main gym.

Main Gym

ALL AROUND GYMNASTICS

Ruby Level 1, Emerald Level 2
Our classes begin in our main gym with a brief warm-up and stretching period, followed by station work on the designated apparatus for that week. Coaches follow a level-appropriate progressive lesson plan and are introduced to bars, beam, trampoline, tumbling and double mini. Every child begins in a Ruby level 1 class. Upon successful completion of the GEMnastic FUNdamentals Ruby skills, children are eligible for an Emerald level 2 class.

TUMBLING
(AGE 6+)

TUMBLING

Ruby (Beginner) and Sapphire (Intermediate)
Our classes begin with a brief warm-up and stretching period, followed by participation in a progressive lesson plan on various tumbling skills. Upon successful completion of the GEMnastics FUNdamentals Ruby skills, athletes are eligible for the Sapphire class where they will be introduced to more complex skills. Tumbling classes are designed for athletes who are only interested in tumbling, and they are also an awesome opportunity to acquire specific tumbling skills for other activities such as cheerleading and dance.

Upon successful completion of the GEMnastics FUNdamentals Ruby skills, athletes are eligible for a Sapphire and subsequently, a Diamond class. As athletes advance through the various levels, they may become eligible to try out for the competition T&T Team.

Special Needs Gymnastics

(AGE 6+)

SPECIAL NEEDS GYMNASTICS

PARENT PARTICIPATION: This class is for athletes with special needs who can follow basic directions and remain in the assigned area with the assistance of a parent/adult companion. The class is held in our Tots area and is structured with circuits, stations and group activities that focus on basic gymnastics, motor skills, social skills, and more.

Please note that our gymnastics classes involve activities that require mobility, such as walking and/or jumping. For safety reasons and as with our Topaz Tots classes, these classes may not be suitable for children who are unable to walk or are confined to the floor. If you have any questions or concerns about your child's ability to participate, please contact us for further discussion and accommodations.

INDEPENDENT: This class is for athletes with special needs who can independently follow our coach's instructions. This class is held in our main gym. For safety reasons, athletes must be of adequate height and age and obtain coach approval to enroll.

Our coaches have extensive Registered Behavior Training and will work with you to achieve your goals!

We understand that sometimes, despite our best efforts, our program may not be the right fit for everyone. Therefore, we offer a money-back guarantee to provide peace of mind for our new students and their families.

Eligibility: Applies to new students attending a class for the first time.

Process:

  • Participate in up to 2 classes.

  • Notify office staff in person or via email, no later than the end of the second class.

  • We will refund the membership fee and any remaining classes in the month.

  • Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account.
